My interest in taking photos have always been there, starting arond the age of 8 when I got my first camera from my parents. But, it wasn’t until 2005 when I bought myself a digital SLR camera (a Canon 350D) that I started to learn more about photography. My primary weapon of cam-choice is a Canon EOS 7D, which I’ve recently found is a pretty competent camera. Being able to shoot both stills plus full 1080p video on 24 or 25 fps (720p in 50 fps) is very nice. Lenses I use for various types of situations are a Sigma 30mm f/1.4, one old 50mm f/1.8, one 17-40 mm f/4.0 and one 70-200 f/4.0.
I also use a compact camera (a Canon Ixus 800 IS) when I’m too lazy to bring the camera bag around. The 800 IS was primarily bought together with a waterproof housing to enable me to shoot some video and stills underwater when diving. It actually works really good, although the sound recording on the 800 IS is really crappy with a lot of sizzling noises. Luckily, audio isn’t very important for underwater video…
Here’s a few images I’ve taken. More images can be found at Flickr.

Speaking of photography – I edited two underwater videos I shot on our vacation to Zanzibar in 2007. Here’s me and Cecilia swimming around in pretty waters.
