Here’s a set of selected interactive projects where I’ve been responsible for all design. Apart from an art director’s normal responsibilities, I have also taken active part in concept development and also in the area of interaction design. I have also tried to incorporate own icons, 3D-renders, illustrations etc.

Vattenfall Climate Signature

type: campaign web site | released: september 2008

Vattenfall Climate Signature

Mission: Inform the public of what Vattenfall sees neccesary to do to curbe climate change. Get the public to sign Vattenfall’s climate manifest.

Result: We created a campaign website where the public could learn about the climate manifesto and also make their voices heard by signing up on the manifest. By doing so their signatures – manifested by an orange figure – were placed in several cities around Europe. The campaign were a huge success, and have collected over 240.000 signatures since the website went live. Read more about the campaign here.

I took active part in the underlying idea of the campaign and was responsible of the design of the website. The campaign won 1:st prize in Excellence Awards 2008. Code by Fröjd and snazzy 3D-renders by Important Looking Pirates.

Stadium

type: web site | released: 2006 | link: stadium.se

Stadium

Mission: Swedish sports company Stadium wanted to launch a new e-commerce web site together with a redesigned graphic profile.

Result: I was responsible for the overall design of the website as well as taking part of the work with the information architecture. Initial design sketches showed to the client were quite dark, not to say utterly black, but were gradually changed to a white look and feel. Stadium.se has since the launch in 2006 become one of Sweden’s most acknowledged e-commerse web sites. The web site won 1:st prize in 2008 in the yearly Swedish “Retail Awards”, a competition held by Dagens Handel and Svensk Handel.

Svenska Turistföreningen

type: web site | released: 2008 | link: Svenska Turistforeningen

STF

Mission: Redesign the web site of Svenska Turistforeningen (The Swedish Tourist Association)

Result: A new take on discovering Sweden with an interactive map where potential visitors can browse, zoom and discover what Sweden has to offer.

Svenska Spel

type: concept web site | released: june 2006

Svenska Spel

Mission: Go wild and make “a next generation master-blaster version of Svenskaspel.se”. In other words, hand over a pack of designed pages to the client and make them see what and how their business could look like.

Result: A restructured website with a more appealing look and feel. Some of my/our ideas were later implemented on the live website (but my personal take is that the finish of the details ought to be looked at again).

Time Advokatbyrå

type: web site | released: 2007 | link: Time Advokatbyrå

Time Advokatbyrå

Mission: Create and design a graphic profile including logotype, typhography guidelines, stationary and structure and design the website for a law office in Stockholm, Sweden.

Result: Since the law office wanted to stand out from other business law firms, I created a three-dimensional looking logotype that also could be used in various colour schemes. The overall design of the website was intentionally kept slimmed with a clean structure and look. The addition of a blog section on the site (in swedish only) aim to further enhance the experience of the content.
All content on the website including 3D-rendered images, flash headers, photographs of lawyers are made by me. All code is made by Benji @ Trevald.

Vodafone Christmas Campaign

type: in-store flash application | released: December 2005

Vodafone

Mission: Create a visually appealing interface for Vodafone’s in-store touch screens, and promote mobile phones in Vodafone’s christmas campaign.

Result: Since Vodafone’s phones could be targeted into different customer segments, I placed a couple of phone into different christmas present boxes which opened when pointing on them (on the screen). Each opened box then showed a set of suitable phones together with price etc. The boxes were rendered in Cinema 4d, and the rest of the graphics were all made with.. yes, you guessed it right – Adobe Photoshop.

Telenor in-store advertising platform

type: in-store flash application | released: January 2006

Telenor

Mission: After Telenor’s aquisition of Vodafone in Sweden, a new graphic tone of voice for the in-store advertising had to be delivered. I took the new (Telenor) graphic design profile and adapted the content to the communication platform in all stores.

Result: The project delivered a new set of design templates for different types of communication – everything from bare bone advertising to interactive applications.
